Shana Wullaert

Shana Wullaert is an experienced NPD/Process Manager at Vandemoortele since February 2022, with a strong background in research and development in the food industry. Prior to this role, Shana served as R&D Manager - Technology & Processing at Puratos, where responsibilities included managing a pilot plant team, overseeing CAPEX, and implementing new chocolate production processes in international affiliates. Shana has also held positions such as Process Improvement Engineer at Puratos, Consultant at USG Professionals Belgium, and Project Engineer at Pfizer, developing expertise in performance improvement projects, MES and ERP systems, and compliance with GMP requirements. Shana holds a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering from Ghent University and has gained valuable experience through an internship at Procter & Gamble, focusing on polymer-surfactant interactions.
