Christopher R. Ellis

Christopher R. Ellis has over two decades of experience in cardiology electrophysiology, currently serving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since July 2000. Key areas of expertise include left atrial appendage closure techniques such as Watchman, Amulet, Lariat, and Atriclip, along with complex procedures for atrial fibrillation, PVC/VT ablation, and laser lead extraction. Prior to this, Christopher completed an electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Michigan from July 2008 to July 2009. Educational qualifications include an MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (1996-2000) and a BS in Immunology from Cornell University (1991-1995).
