Jeremy Sutton

Jeremy Sutton, CIA, CFE, CICA, currently serves as Senior Internal Auditor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jeremy held the same position at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio from November 2016 to July 2022. Jeremy's extensive auditing experience includes a tenure as Regulatory Auditor Senior at Austin Water Utility from January 2008 to November 2016, where an ACL script developed by Jeremy identified $56,000 in lost fee revenue. Additionally, Jeremy worked at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. from 2001 to 2007, progressing from Staff I Auditor and Staff II Auditor to Senior Auditor, while also supervising team members and achieving significant inventory reduction results. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Manager and Customer Service Manager at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s Round Rock Super Center. Jeremy holds a BA in History from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
