Jonathan Coggin

Jonathan Coggin is a Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Lacy Laboratory, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of large clostridial toxins and utilizing advanced structural biology techniques. Previously, Jonathan served as an Undergraduate Researcher at Washington University in St. Louis's Fleckenstein Laboratory, working on the mapping of human monoclonal antibodies and the development of assays in microbiology and biochemistry. In addition to research, Jonathan has experience as an Assistant in Instruction for microbiology courses and as a Tutor with the Tennessee Tutoring Corps, assisting students in foundational subjects. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology from Washington University in St. Louis.
