Dr. Sydney Savion currently serves as the Vice Chancellor for People, Culture & Belonging at Vanderbilt University, leading efforts to enhance community and professional development. With extensive experience in learning and development, Dr. Savion has held key positions such as Global Learning Futurist at Google, where strategic enterprise-wide learning initiatives were implemented, and SVP Learning & Growth at Cityblock Health, a Google spinoff focusing on healthcare innovation. Prior roles include General Manager of Learning at Air New Zealand, where workforce development strategies were advanced, and Chief of Education Strategy at Dell EMC, overseeing global learning strategies for a diverse workforce. Dr. Savion holds a Doctorate in Education from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Old Dominion University.
