René Millán

Lectuer Of Theatre- Acting at Vanderbilt University

René Millán is a seasoned theatre professional with extensive experience in acting and teaching. Currently, Millán serves as a Lecturer of Theatre-Acting at Vanderbilt University since August 2022. In addition, Millán has been an Acting Teacher/Coach at Millán Acting Studio since January 2000 and continues to contribute as a Teaching Artist for Nashville Children's Theatre, Actors Bridge Ensemble, and Nashville Shakespeare Festival, all since 2014. Previously, Millán coordinated the theatre program at Rocketship United Academy until October 2021 and worked as an Actor/Teaching Artist at Oregon Shakespeare Festival from 2005 to 2011. Millán holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Washington (1996-1999) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Redlands (1990-1994).
