Sally Parker

Sally Parker serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategy and Operations at Vanderbilt University since October 2014, having held various roles including Chief of Staff for Government and Community Relations, Senior Assistant Provost, and Assistant Provost. Prior to Vanderbilt, Parker worked at Hall Strategies in press relations and public affairs, and at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate and Senior Editor for the Africa Defense Forum. Academic experience includes serving as a Visiting Professor at the University of South Florida and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Florida State University, where Parker earned a Ph.D. in Political Science. Additional roles include positions in public affairs and loan origination, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Political Science and French from Belmont University.
