Semir Sarajlic

Semir Sarajlic is currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Leadership, Policy & Organizations at Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, since August 2023. Previously, Semir held various roles at the Georgia Institute of Technology from February 2018 to April 2023, including Senior Research Scientist and Team Lead at PACE. Semir's experience also includes positions at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as an XSEDE Campus Champion Fellow and at Georgia State University, where a career spanned from Principal Data Analytics Engineer to Graduate Research Assistant. Semir's academic background features a Master of Science in Geology and additional certifications in Big Data Analytics, Grant Writing, and Geographic Information Science. Noteworthy contributions include work on advanced visualization techniques, remote sensing research published in The Professional Geologist, and collaboration on NSF grants to enhance geoscience education and research.
