Sivaraja Vaithiyalingam

Sivaraja Vaithiyalingam is a Senior Scientist at Vanderbilt University, with extensive experience in biophysical research and protein interactions. Previously, Sivaraja served as a Scientist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, focusing on protein interactions and structural characterization using advanced biophysical techniques. Prior to that role, Sivaraja was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University, specializing in protein cloning and crystallization. Sivaraja began the academic career as a Research Assistant at National Tsing Hua University, where the solution structure of a potassium channel blocker was determined using NMR spectroscopy. Sivaraja holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Arkansas, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in Chemistry from Bharathiar University and the University of Madras.
