Oliver Geschke has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Oliver started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Münster in 1994. Oliver then moved on to become an Assistant and Associate Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they were responsible for a research group focused on miniaturized systems. In 2010, they joined Aquaporin A/S as the CTO and Vice President of Research & Development, where they led the coordination of all R&D work. Oliver was later promoted to Vice President of Infrastructure Development and Public Private Partnerships, where they were responsible for the installation of technical infrastructure and writing funding applications. In 2018, Oliver joined Alfa Laval as an R&D Membrane Engineer/Project Manager, where they managed new product development and worked across different departments. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Vandstrom, leading an interdisciplinary team in the US.

Oliver Geschke obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Münster between 1988 and 1994. It is not specified whether they obtained any additional degrees or certifications from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Oliver has also obtained certifications in "Managing Virtual Teams" and "10 Mistakes Leaders Should Avoid" from LinkedIn, in the years 2023 and 2022 respectively.
