Adaline Leong

Adaline Leong is a Development Member at VandyHacks. Adaline has previously worked as a Developer and Digital Marketing Consultant at AzWaikiki, Dishwasher at Pomegranate Cafe, and Summer TA Intern at AI4ALL.

Adaline Leong has always been interested in computers and technology. In high school, they took several computer science classes and learned how to code. Adaline was also a member of the robotics club. After graduation, they decided to pursue a career in web development and digital marketing.

Adaline started their career at AzWaikiki, where they developed and managed the AzWaikiki main website (azwaikiki.com), co-led the advertisement department, as well as helped create and manage AzWaikiki social media platforms. Adaline then moved on to Pomegranate Cafe, where they were responsible for cleaning all used dishes/kitchen equipment and putting them back into their correct places, closing and opening the dishwashing station, and other miscellaneous tasks around the kitchen such as helping to buss tables and prep food.

Most recently, they worked as a Summer TA Intern at AI4ALL. Adaline was selected as one of two AI4ALL Summer TA Interns to assist the Georgia Institute of Technology AI4ALL 2021 summer program with main responsibilities being leading instruction of AI and coding concepts, assisting with grading, assisting students with the AI Group Research Project (done in collaboration with Georgia Tech's Laboratory for Intelligent Decision and Autonomous Robots), and assisting students with their AI Airline Satisfaction mini-project. Adaline also assisted with engaging students in activities such as ice breakers as well as created a review document with a summary of all the materials (lectures and projects) used during the program for student use.

Adaline is currently a Development Member at VandyHacks, where they continue to develop their skills in web development and digital marketing.

Adaline Leong has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University. Adaline also has a high school diploma from Desert Vista High School. Adaline has certification from Coursera in DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer and from Microsoft in Microsoft Technology Associate: Introduction to Programming Using Java.

Adaline Leong works with Chuka Munkh-Achit - Development Member, Jerry Chen - Development Member, and Juyoung Kim - Development Committee Advisor. Adaline Leong reports to Sneh Patel, Development Director.
