Natalia Gurushina has an extensive work experience in the finance and research industry. Natalia worked as the Chief Economist for EM Managed Debt Funds at VanEck since 2013. Prior to that, they held the position of Director in Emerging Markets and EM/DM Currencies Strategy at Roubini Global Economics from 2009 to 2013. Before that, they worked as a Macro Analyst at Pantera Capital Management from 2007 to 2009. From 2002 to 2006, Natalia was a Consultant in Global Markets Research at Deutsche Bank, and from 1999 to 2002, they served as an Economist in Global Markets Research at Deutsche Bank, London. Natalia also worked as an Economist in Global Markets Research at Bankers Trust, Moscow Russia, from 1997 to 1999. Natalia began their career as a Research Analyst at OMRI in 1995.
Natalia Gurushina pursued their undergraduate degree in Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 1984 to 1989. After completing their bachelor's degree, they went on to attend the University of Oxford from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degree. The field of study for their DPhil remains unspecified.
