Evan Eckert

Evan Eckert has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as a Training Captain at VanEnkevort Tug & Barge, Inc. since April 2020. Previous roles include 1st Mate and Mate positions at G & H Towing Company and Ashton Marine, LLC, respectively. Notably, Evan Eckert has a background as an Infantry Team Leader in the Army National Guard and began a career in maritime through various positions, including Cadet at Key Lakes INC/Great Lakes Fleet and Ordinary Seaman at Grand River Navigation Company. A graduate of Great Lakes Maritime Academy, Evan Eckert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Technology.
