Ciera Parks

Ciera Parks, MHRD, SHRM-CP has over 14 years of experience in Human Resources. Ciera began their career in 2007 as a Human Resources Office Assistant at Rollins College. In 2011, they held a Group Chaperone-Summer Position at Centro Panamericano de Idiomas and an Account Manager at Max Mehra Collections, LLC. From 2013-2015, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and a Human Resources Generalist at Center for Urban Families. From 2016-2017, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Social Solutions and a Human Resources Business Partner at Amazon. From 2019-2021, they held the role of VP of Programs & Professional Development at NAAAHR Greater Baltimore and is currently the Vice President of People Operations & Culture at Vangst.

Ciera Parks has a diverse educational background. Ciera obtained their Masters in Human Resources Development from Towson University in 2018, with a focus in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In 2021, they completed a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Ciera holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College, with a major in International Business and a minor in Spanish Language. Ciera also studied Mandarin Chinese, Business, Economy and Culture at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010, and attended Universidad de Oviedo in 2009. Additionally, Ciera Parks is a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
