Matt Shaffer

Matt Shaffer is an experienced Information Technology professional with a robust background in system administration and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Information Technology Manager and System Administrator at Vanguard Appraisals, Inc. since April 2015, Matt oversees VMware infrastructure, physical servers, and network security. Previous roles include Information Systems Engineer at Access Systems, Inc. and Network Administrator at Channel Fusion, where Matt managed client support and network security. Notable achievements include significant system upgrades at Scheldrup Blades and extensive system administration for TMone. Matt’s career also encompasses experience in hardware and network support within healthcare settings at Mercy Medical Center and Iowa Health System. Educationally, Matt attended Kirkwood Community College from 2009 to 2010.
