Daniel Grimes

Daniel Grimes has a diverse work experience, starting in 1990 as a Director of Sales at Emery/Menlo Worldwide Forwarding. Daniel later held various leadership roles at UTi Worldwide Inc., including Director of Latin America and Managing Director Mexico. Daniel also served as the Director of Latin America, Caribbean & Florida at Morrison Express. In 2003, they became the Vice President of Latin America at ABX Logistics, and in 2004, they were appointed as the Vice President of Latin America & Caribbean at UTi Worldwide Inc. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Management Consultant at Global Logistics & Supply Chain Consulting. In 2012, they joined iTN Worldwide as the Chief Operating Officer until 2020. Daniel then worked as Vice President at Janel Group, Inc. until 2022. Currently, Daniel Grimes holds the position of Senior Vice President, Global FCL at Vanguard Logistics Services. In 2009, they also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Delivering Better Lives, an organization focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged communities through education and basic necessities.

Daniel Grimes has a B.A. in Political Science/International Relations from the University of California, Davis and an M.B.A. in Marketing/Marketing Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Full Member at Vistage Worldwide, Inc. and WSET Level II certified from WSET — Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Daniel is also a member of the CSCMP - Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, although the year of obtaining this membership is unknown.
