Onno Meij

Onno Meij has extensive experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Onno started their career in 1999 as Finance Director at TNT Express Air and Road Network. From 2002 to 2007, they served as Managing Director in various regions at TNT Logistics. Onno then joined CEVA Logistics as Executive Vice President, holding roles in Operations and overseeing operations in France, Benelux, and Nordics. In 2012, they became the Managing Director of Van Dijk Educatie. Later, they served as EVP Contract Logistics - Region Europe at DB Schenker and then as SVP Contract Logistics West Europe. In 2018, they became the CEO of Vanguard Logistics Services. Prior to their current role, they were an Industry Advisor at Bowline Capital Partners, focusing on logistics and transportation.

Onno Meij holds a Master's degree in Transport and Logistics Development from Katholieke Universiteit Brabant/TIAS (1995-1996). Onno also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Bedrijfskunde from the University of Groningen (1987-1992). Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (teacher) from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (1982-1986). Onno Meij further expanded their knowledge in Negotiation Dynamics and International Business at INSEAD in 2001.
