Daneen Baird

Daneen Baird currently serves as the Head of Culture & Community Communications at Vanguard, a position held since February 2022, where Daneen leads the corporate multichannel strategy and messaging to support DEI and community stewardship efforts. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Communications Strategist for DEI at DuPont from November 2019 to January 2022, Global Employee Communications Leader at Comcast from May 2016 to September 2019, and Senior Manager of Internal Communications at Villanova University from January 2012 to May 2016. Additionally, Daneen held the position of Assistant Director of Communication at the American Cancer Society from March 2006 to December 2011 and Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Greater Philadelphia Cares from January 2003 to December 2005. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theater from Ursinus College and further studies at Temple University.
