Maria Otero Besada

Maria Otero Besada has extensive experience in the field of data analysis and management information. Maria is currently working at Vanquis Banking Group as a Lead Analyst Data Insights & MI, where they are responsible for driving new MI projects and creating comprehensive management reports and dashboards. Prior to this, Maria worked at Moneybarn as an MI Developer and at Amigo Loans as a Risk Insight Analyst. Maria also has experience as an IT Consultant and Product Owner at Tokio Marine Seguradora S/A, where they were responsible for setting requirements and monitoring projects in the reinsurance area. Maria also served as the Head of Reinsurance Operations and Senior Systems Analyst at the same company, where they led the upgrade of the reinsurance system and supervised a team.

Maria Otero Besada earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Santa Cecília in 2002. Maria further pursued their education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2011 and 2013.
