Jere Espo

Jere Espo is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry with extensive experience in power plant operations and process engineering. Currently serving as a Process Engineer in Chemistry at Vantaan Energia Oy since March 2021, Jere supervises the Chemistry Team and supports various operational and project activities. Previous roles include Specialist in Power Plant Chemistry at Caverion and Maintpartner Group, where responsibilities encompassed consultation, process analytics, troubleshooting, and staff training. With a background that includes various positions at Fortum and a foundational role as Team Leader at E.ON Finland Oyj, Jere has developed a strong expertise in quality control, process development, and staff management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Helsinki and a Laboratory Technician degree from Helsinki School of Laboratory Occupation.
