Kaisa Halinen

Kaisa Halinen currently serves as Chief Physician at Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue since December 2023. Prior to this role, Kaisa held several significant positions including Senior Ministerial Adviser and Senior Medical Officer at Sosiaali- ja terveysministeriö from December 2019 to December 2023, and Chief Physician and Deputy Chief Physician at the City of Helsinki from January 2010 to December 2019. Kaisa's education includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oulu, specialization in geriatrics from the University of Helsinki, and several qualifications from The Finnish Medical Association, including special competence in healthcare quality, patient safety, and palliative medicine. Kaisa also completed an eMBA from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development and participated in the Alueellinen maanpuolustuskurssi.
