Ed Kim currently serves as Physician-in-Chief for Orange County at City of Hope since November 2020. Prior to this role, Ed Kim held the position of Chairman for Solid Tumor Oncology and Investigational Therapeutics at Levine Cancer Institute, Atrium Health from June 2012 to November 2020. Additionally, Ed Kim was an Associate Professor (tenured) at MD Anderson Cancer Center from January 2001 to June 2012. Ed Kim's educational background includes an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Medical Oncology Fellowship from University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, a Residency in Internal Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine. Ed Kim also completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University, participating in the Honors Program in Medical Education.
