Piia Vaara

Piia Vaara currently serves as a Senior Social Worker and team leader in Child Protection Services and Foster Care at Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue, where responsibilities include supervising case work, service counseling, clinical training, and developing social work practices. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Social Worker in Child welfare at the City of Vantaa and a long tenure at the City of Helsinki, encompassing various social work functions, including clinical work with children, families, and adults, as well as crisis management.
