Douglas E. Stewart

Douglas Stewart is an experienced legal and corporate executive with a strong background in compliance and finance. Currently serving as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary at VANTAGE DRILLING since June 2016, Douglas has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Douglas was the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Stallion Oilfield Services from June 2007 to June 2016. Douglas also held a position in International Business Development at Oxy for a brief period in 2007 and served as an Associate at Vinson and Elkins, focusing on corporate finance and securities law, particularly in private equity and mergers and acquisitions. Douglas holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of Texas School of Law (1998-2001) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Trinity University (1994-1998).
