Karla Donovan is a seasoned legal and claims professional with extensive experience in healthcare claims management. Currently serving as the VP and Head of US Healthcare Claims at Vantage Risk Companies since June 2025, Karla previously held the position of Special Counsel and VP of Healthcare Claims at BatesCarey LLP, where leadership of the Sompo International Bermuda Healthcare claims team was a primary responsibility. Earlier roles included Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Healthcare Claims at Arch Insurance Group Inc., where mentoring and quality assurance were central to the management of the healthcare unit. Karla also has a strong background in litigation management and medical malpractice defense, having worked as Of Counsel at Buckley Theroux Kline & Petraske and serving as General Counsel at Reciprocal Management Corporation.
