Dave Stone

Director, Support Services at Vantage Living

Dave joined the Vantage Living team in October of 2018 as a Consultant for Building Services. Dave has since taken the position of Director, Support Services. In this role Dave is responsible to plan, develop and direct the maintenance and property management department and its people, programs and activities; to prepare and lead the company preparations of Emergency Plans and support the development of Site Safety Plans.

Dave has 30 plus years of maintenance and fabrication experience in both the manufacturing and building services industries. He has an accomplished record in senior leadership positions with leading Manufacturing and Maintenance with the Canadian Navy and private sectors. Dave has utilized his analytical, and problem-solving skills in leading change initiatives where his expertise in quality control principles have improved quality, reduced costs, and increased customer satisfaction.

With a background in Electronics Engineering, completed PMP Certification training at Mount Royal University and Red Deer College, completed Senior Leadership and Management courses at CFB St. Jean, and holds a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Dave served 21 years in the Canadian Forces achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer 2nd class and has received multiple commendations during his service for dedication, loyalty and leadership.
