Abbey Ong

Malaysian-born Abbey joined the Vantage team in July 2024. She recently migrated to Australia after falling in love with an Australian diplomat while he was posted to Kuala Lumpur and following him back to Canberra. No stranger to customer service and maintaining high standards, Abbey was drawn to the many opportunities in property management in the Canberra area and the potential to go above and beyond in assisting clients to maximise their property goals.

Prior to her current role, Abbey spent many years in senior operational roles at a prominent European rubber gloves company and, before that, with a major logistics and freight forwarding company. She is known for her eagle eye for detail, can-do attitude, and advanced troubleshooting skills. Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Bahasa Malaysia, language is no barrier for Abbey.

As a mother of two and a stepmother to two more, Abbey doesn’t have much spare time these days. When she can find some me-time, you’ll find this soccer mum hunting for good Malaysian spicy food or discovering more about Canberra and its surrounding areas.
