Paras Sharma

Paras migrated to Australia in 2004 and has been working ever since in various operations roles predominantly in the waste / transport industry. Paras started as a weighbridge operator, making his way up the ranks to Fleet Operations Manager (Canberra region).

During his career, Paras has developed extensive experience in customer service and sales. In his last role prior to joining Vantage in 2020, Paras was at Suez Recycling and Recovery as the Fleet Operation Manager (Suez Commercial), where he was managing the truck fleet and the operation of the whole commercial depot.

Paras brings a wide variety of business management and people management skills to Vantage Strata. He started as a building manager with Vantage Strata and has been able to utilise his skills in order to manage the largest precinct of its kind in Canberra. Paras has a great work ethic and is passionate about his team.

In his personal life Paras has a great passion for his family and loves to devote as much time as he can towards the wellbeing of his children and family. He’s a dyed-in-the-wool Penrith Panthers supporter and wouldn’t trade that for anything in life.
