Daniel Ballard

Daniel Ballard has extensive work experience in the technology industry, starting as an intern at the University of Arizona in 2013. Daniel later worked as a Hadoop Administrator and Technical Information Security Officer at Deutsche Bank from 2014 to 2017. Following this, they served as a Senior Customer Operations Engineer at Cloudera from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Epic Games from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Site Reliability Engineering at VantageScore Solutions® starting in 2022.

Daniel Ballard obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fayetteville State University in 2011-2014. Daniel later pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017-2021. In 2018, they obtained certifications in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA) Administrator. In 2014, they also completed a certification in Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems from Coursera Verified Certificates.
