Abizar B

Abizar B is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Vapi since January 2025, Abizar has also held significant roles such as a Kleiner Perkins Fellow since January 2020 and Founder of Cottage, an AI therapy platform that was solo founded and subsequently sunsetted in January 2025. Prior to these roles, Abizar worked as a Founding Engineer at Methid, leading product development for a biotech and computer vision startup backed by Founders Fund, and as a Software Engineer at Nearside, where contributions helped the fintech startup raise $75 million and grow to over 100 employees before acquisition. Abizar holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University and an International Baccalaureate diploma from UWC Mahindra College.
