Rex Stevens, CPA

Rex Stevens, CPA has a wealth of experience in the accounting field. Starting as an Accounting Intern in 2012 at Oliver, Rainey & Wojtek, LLP, they then worked as a Contract Cash Accountant at EZCORP in 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Signature Science, LLC, starting as a Junior Accountant, then Associate Accountant, and finally Accountant. In 2017, they joined Hanger, Inc. as a Lease Accountant, where they created preventive/detective processes around lease accounts, collaborated with the lease team to implement ASC 842, and contributed to Hanger being relisted on NYSE. In 2019, they moved to Cloudflare as a Senior GL Accountant, where they were responsible for sales commissions, equity, travel expense accruals, and employee receivable accounts. Rex also oversaw the lease team progression and direction while taking on new responsibilities. In 2021, they joined Vapor IO as an Accounting Manager, where they manage a team of four accountants and has been through two audits with no material weaknesses. Rex has also adopted the ASC 842 standard and implemented lease software.

Rex Stevens, CPA obtained their Bachelors of Business Administration from Angelo State University with a focus in Accounting and Finance from 2005 to 2012. Rex also holds a Certified Public Accountant certification from the TSBPA.
