Thomas J. Latiolais

Thomas J. Latiolais has a wealth of experience in the technology and design industry. Thomas began their career in 2003 as a Lead Designer & Developer at Efficient Technology. In 2008, they moved to Bizzuka, Inc. as Creative & Production Director, where they provided CMS services, custom website and intranet development, and internet marketing. In 2015, they joined Vapor IO as Software Engineering & Automation Program Director, and later as Director of Product Design & UX. In 2017, they Co-Founded Empilio LLC, an Austin based brand strategy and design consultancy.

Thomas J. Latiolais received a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Human Computer Interaction from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, they obtained an Executive Program: Human-Computer Interaction for User Experience Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in September 2019 and a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation in May 2019.
