Cara Main

Cara Main has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the engineering and research and development fields. Cara'smost recent position is as the VP of Research & Development at Vapotherm. Prior to that, they held positions at Hillrom where they served as the Director of Engineering Excellence and the Director of QA/RA Design Assurance. Cara also worked as a Senior Project Engineer, leading teams in sustaining activities for various products. Before their time at Hillrom, Cara worked at Delphi Automotive Systems, where they held positions such as Lead Product Engineer, Lead Project Engineer, Engineering Technician, and Project Engineer. Throughout their career, Cara has demonstrated expertise in driving innovation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing cross-functional teams.

Cara Main holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Dayton. Cara also has a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the same institution. In addition, they hold certifications in Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence from the American Society for Quality and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online from the American Heart Association.
