Director Cell Culture And Media Development at Bluu Seafood

Andre Schiefner has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Andre started their career in 1998 as a Research Internship at SULZER - Healthcare. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Research Associate at the University of Konstanz. Andre then joined The Scripps Research Institute as a Research Associate from 2006 to 2008, where they focused on CD1 mediated lipid presentation in infectious disease and immunomodulation.

In 2009, Andre joined the Technical University Munich, where they held various positions. Andre started as a Senior Research and Teaching Associate from 2009 to 2020 and later became the Group leader of Biochemistry from 2011 to 2020.

Currently, Andre is associated with Bluu Seafood. Andre started as a Senior Scientist in Biochemistry from 2020 to 2021. Andre then transitioned to the role of Team Lead in Cell Culture and Media Development from 2021 to 2022. Andre is currently serving as the Associate Director in Cell Culture and Media Development since 2023.

Throughout their career, Andre has gained expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, and structural biology.

Andre Schiefner has a strong education history in the field of biochemistry. Andre received their highest degree, a Dr. rer. nat. habil, Habilitation (lecture qualification), from the Technical University of Munich in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from the University of Konstanz between 2000 and 2004. Andre also holds a Diploma in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, which they earned from 1995 to 2000.

In addition to their formal degrees, Andre Schiefner has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they earned an IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from edX. Andre also holds a TUM Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from TUM School of Management, which they received in 2019. In 2017, they obtained a Good Manufacturing Practice certification from Bayerische Landesapothekerkammer through the Graduate School LSM. Furthermore, in 2014, they earned a Zertifikat Hochschullehre Grundstufe from the Technical University of Munich, Carl von Linde-Academy.
