Audun Fykse

Audun Fykse has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on reservoir engineering and subsurface work. Audun currently holds the role of Reserves and Subsurface Excellence Manager at Vår Energi since November 2022. Prior to this, Fykse worked as a Principal Reservoir Engineering Advisor at Vår Energi from January 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Vår Energi, Fykse had a brief secondee role at Eni Norge AS as the Point Resources Balder IWT Lead and acting Reservoir Supervisor from September 2018 to December 2018. Audun also served as the Reservoir Engineering Team Leader for the Barents Sea at Eni Norge AS from March 2015 to September 2018. In this role, they led a group of reservoir engineers working on Eni Norge's assets in the Barents Sea, including the Goliat field (in production) and Johan Castberg (in the planning phase).

Fykse's previous experience includes working as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in the multidisciplinary subsurface group for the Goliat development in the Barents Sea at Eni Norge AS from October 2011 to March 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Reservoir Engineer for non-op projects at Eni Norge AS from September 2008 to September 2011.

Fykse began their career at Halliburton, where they held the position of Technical Professional from August 2004 to August 2008.

Audun Fykse obtained a MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1999 and 2004.
