Filip Angell Løge

Filip Angell Løge has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the safety engineering field. Filip currently holds the position of Senior Safety Engineer at Vår Energi since March 2022. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2022, they operated their own consulting business, Filip Løge Consulting, where they provided safety engineering services to clients in the oil and gas industry. Filip collaborated with ORS Consulting during this time.

From 2012 to 2016, Filip worked as a Safety Advisor at Safetec Nordic AS, where they were involved in risk analysis and barrier management projects for major clients on the NCS (Norwegian Continental Shelf). This included establishing documentation related to barrier philosophies, strategies, and performance standards. Filip dealt with technical, operational, and organizational aspects of safety systems, including offshore drilling and production systems.

Filip's earlier work experience includes a short stint as a Process Operator at Hansa Borg Bryggerier ASA in 2008 and an extended period as an Assistant Manager at Mc Donalds Markensgate from 2002 to 2007.

Filip Angell Løge pursued their education at the University of Stavanger, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering from 2007 to 2010. Filip further continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Risk Management - Offshore Safety from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, Filip obtained a certification in Excel Spreadsheet Design: Extreme Makeover from LinkedIn in July 2023.
