Marius Ingebrigtsen

Marius Ingebrigtsen is an experienced drilling and exploration professional currently serving as Team Lead Exploration (Consultant) at Vår Energi since October 2023, where responsibilities include managing a team of five engineers and overseeing seven exploration projects. Prior to this role, Marius worked at Neptune Energy from April 2019 to September 2023 as Exploration Wells Manager and Team Lead Drilling Engineering Exploration, successfully building an exploration drilling team and executing significant drilling milestones. Marius has held various consulting positions at OMV, Acona, Det Norske, Statoil, and Schlumberger, contributing to high-pressure high-temperature well design, exploration drilling, and performance optimization across multiple projects. Marius holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Stavanger, obtained in 2002.
