Mehdi Farhaoui

Mehdi Farhaoui is a seasoned professional in the construction and engineering sector, currently serving as the Deputy Completion Lead at Vår Energi since November 2021, where involvement includes overseeing the Balder X Project associated with the Jotun FPSO. Prior to this role, Mehdi was the Deputy Construction Manager at Technip Energies from April to November 2021, contributing to the YNFARM project, renowned as the world's largest vertical insect farm. Previous experience includes serving as Offshore Construction Lead at Equinor, coordinating mechanical completion activities, and leading onshore support teams at TechnipFMC, focusing on construction optimization and performance measurement. With a background in piping coordination and project organization at Technip, and early career work as a construction engineer at Saipem, Mehdi holds an engineering degree from École Nationale Supérieure en Génie des Systèmes et de l'Innovation and has further education from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.
