Torstein Landaas

Torstein Landaas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Torstein currently works as a Senior Project Engineer at Vår Energi since August 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Project Management Consultant at Proval Partners sa from October 2015 to May 2018. Before that, they served as a Senior Project Engineer at AF Gruppen from December 2015 to September 2016.

Torstein also worked at Apply as an Interface Lead, Commissioning from May 2018 to July 2021, where they were responsible for setting up the interface system and coordinating multidiscipline input for the commissioning system. Torstein also had significant experience in interface coordination and site representation at Talisman Energy Inc., TOTAL E&P NORGE AS, Statoil, and ConocoPhillips, where they worked on various projects related to decommissioning, interface management, change management, and project coordination. Torstein's early work experience includes being a Project Manager at Intel Sampling from January 1993 to July 2006, where they led the Pipe Cleaning department and was responsible for procurement, engineering, fabrication, and contract management.

Torstein Landaas completed their primary and secondary education at Stavanger Katedralskole from 1983 to 1986. Torstein then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Technology at the University of Stavanger, graduating in 1991 with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Petroleum Technology. In 2006, Torstein attended BI Norwegian Business School for one year, where they studied Project Management 1&2. Later, in 2013, they enrolled at Heriot-Watt University and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in MBA (Master of Business Administration).
