Reona Fernandes

Reona Fernandes is a Geospatial Data Scientist at Varaha since August 2023, with prior experience as a GIS Engineer and Geographic Information System Intern at nurture.farm from May 2021 to August 2023. In this role, Reona focused on remote sensing-based identification of agricultural practices and events throughout the crop growth cycle, successfully identifying key crop events such as harvest and tillage, and utilizing satellite data from diverse sources to generate insights. Reona holds a Master of Science in Geoinformatics from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from St. Xavier's College.
