Mark Herbert

Mark Herbert has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Mark is currently the Vice President of Biopharma Business Development at Varda Space Industries. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at Vasa Therapeutics, Inc. In their previous role as the Chief Business Officer at Scientist.com, they worked from 2018 to 2022. Mark also held various positions at Arcturus Therapeutics, WuXi AppTec, Aragon Pharmaceuticals, Victory Pharma, Kalypsys, and Anadys Pharmaceuticals, where they gained experience in business development, alliance management, and pharmaceutical sciences.

Mark Herbert obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Kent State University from 1996 to 2000. Mark then pursued a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry at Indiana University Bloomington from 2000 to 2003.
