Steffanie Sanders

Steffanie Sanders is Head of Operations for Legal, Compliance, Audit and Tax. Steffanie has held numerous leadership positions during her tenure, including Head of Fund Formation, Head of Investor Services and Chief Financial Officer, when she had overall responsibility for the U.S. accounting, operations, treasury and technology functions. Prior to that, Steffanie held roles as Director of Operations and Manager of the accounting and administration, including audit and tax work, for Värde’s illiquid investments. Based in Minneapolis, she joined the firm in 1996.

Prior to joining Värde, Steffanie worked as an audit senior at KPMG, LLP in the real estate and brokerage industries, with an emphasis in back office operations.

Steffanie earned a B.S. in Accounting from St. Cloud State University.
