Sr. Electrical Design Engineer at Varex Imaging

Frank DeLaTorre has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Cisco Systems Inc. Frank then joined WDS as a Principal Consulting Design Engineer, taking on business development activities and leading a team of consultants. From 2003 to 2012, Frank worked at various companies including Moog as the HW Technical Lead, Tower Design Engineering as a Principal Consultant, and Qualcomm as a Consultant Engineer, specializing in validation and post-silicon activities. In 2014, they became the Principal Engineer at Novel Engineering, where they focused on business development. During their time at HZO from 2015 to 2017, Frank served as an R&D Technologist, providing technical and sales support for customer products. Frank then worked at RedRock Engineering as a Technologist/Principal, providing hardware and systems expertise, before joining Gentex Corporation as a Lead Electrical Engineer from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Frank is a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer at Varex Imaging Corporation, leading the AEG Hi-CT Research and Development team, where they architect and designs electronics for high voltage x-ray tubes.

Frank DeLaTorre attended San Jose State University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
