Genesis Moreno

Genesis Moreno has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Genesis is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer III at Varex Imaging Corporation since October 2022. Before this, they worked at Edwards Lifesciences, starting as a Manufacturing Engineer I from August 2021 to February 2022, and then as a Manufacturing Engineer II from February 2022 until October 2022.

Prior to Edwards Lifesciences, Genesis worked as a Research Assistant at the BYU Applied Biomechanics Engineering Laboratory from May 2020 to December 2020. Genesis also gained research experience at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah, where they worked as a Research Assistant from January 2019 to May 2020.

Genesis has also had industrial experience, having participated in the Manufacturing Development Program at Niagara Bottling from July 2017 to August 2018. Genesis also had an internship at B/E Aerospace as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern from January 2014 to May 2014.

Genesis Moreno completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2011 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomechanics at the University of Utah John and Marcia Price College of Engineering from 2018 to 2020.
