Ian Gilliam

Ian Gilliam has had a long and varied career in operations and engineering. Ian began their career in 2006 as a Product Development Engineer, Equipment Reliability Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer at Cummins Inc. In 2012, they joined IES as a Manufacturing Engineer. In 2013, they moved to Tandus Centiva as a Business Process Engineer. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Mueller Co. in various roles, including Operational Excellence, Quality, Process Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, Quality Manager, and Process Engineer. In 2020, they joined Variable, Inc. as Director of Operations.

Ian Gilliam obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2004. Ian then went on to earn a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management and Supervision, both from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2006.
