Bret Burkhart is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in managing financial operations across various industries, including SaaS, nonprofit, and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Global Customer Services Finance Senior Business Partner at Varian since May 2022, Bret previously held key roles such as Senior Finance/Controller at New Meridian Corporation, Interim Controller at Periscope Holdings, and Senior Financial Manager at IBM, where Bret managed financial planning and analysis during significant acquisitions. With a strong foundation established at Dell Inc., where Bret held multiple senior financial consultant positions and served as Financial Controller, Bret’s expertise encompasses financial forecasting, accounting functions, and process improvements. Bret holds a Master of Business Administration with a finance emphasis from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
