Julie Wong

Julie Wong serves as Vice President and General Counsel for Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company, a role she has held since March 2022. Ms. Wong also serves as Chief Counsel for Varian’s Radiation Oncology Solutions business line.

Ms. Wong joined Varian in 2019, bringing more than 20 years of extensive and broad-based experience in corporate governance, securities, M&A, commercial and transactional, finance, compliance and antitrust matters. Her responsibilities include leading and overseeing the legal function for Varian and providing strategic guidance and support on all legal matters impacting Varian. She was an integral contributor to merger and integration efforts in the combination of Varian with Siemens Healthineers.

Prior to joining Varian, Ms. Wong served at a number of large, multinational corporations, most recently Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation, a diversified global medical technology company, where she was Corporate General Counsel with responsibility for all corporate governance, SEC and SOX compliance. She also was Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at G&W Laboratories, Inc.; Associate General Counsel at BASF Corporation; and Senior Corporate Counsel at Cambrex Corporation.

Ms. Wong holds a JD degree from the Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of Fordham Law Review, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wellesley College. She is a member of the New York Bar.
