Elizabeth Wing has a diverse work experience in the field of science and research. Elizabeth started their career as a Lab Assistant at Coastal Carolina University Environmental Quality Lab, where they completed river gauging and assisted with beach monitoring. Elizabeth then worked as a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, teaching and conducting research on greenhouse gas emissions. Elizabeth also had a role as a Research Scientist, where they trained students and analyzed metagenomic data. Elizabeth later joined Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute as a Lead Teacher, where they taught scientific theory and technique to students and developed educational materials.
