Niranjan Reddy

Niranjan Reddy has extensive work experience in the technology and product development field. Niranjan is currently the Director of Product & Technology at Varis since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Office Depot as a Director and Enterprise Architect - IT from August 2001 to July 2021. In this role, they specialized in container and microservice architecture using Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and pipeline development.

Before their time at Office Depot, Niranjan held the position of Team Lead/Assistant Architect at Lucent Technologies from September 2000 to August 2001. Niranjan'sresponsibilities included assisting the Chief Architect in designing platform APIs for hosting telecom services using Weblogic server and J2EE components.

In addition, they worked as a Technical Lead at HotOffice.com from May 1999 to August 2000. Here, they developed various components using EJBs, JavaMail, and Activation framework for the online document and email management subscription service.

Niranjan's early work experience includes being a Project Engineer at NewResourcesCorporation from May 1994 to May 1999. During this time, they were part of a team that developed an n-tiered client-server application for reporting failure statistics and other relevant information for machinery parts for a major manufacturing company. The software utilized Java applet user-interface, C++ server, and DB2 database.

Overall, Niranjan Reddy has a strong background in technology leadership, product development, and architectural design, with expertise in containerization, microservices, and CI/CD automation.

Niranjan Reddy pursued their Bachelor's degree in Engineering from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad from 1986 to 1990. Niranjan then went on to complete their Master's degree in Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they studied from 1992 to 1994.
