Denny Rönngren has extensive experience in various roles and companies. Denny currently works at Varjo as the Principal OpenXR System Architect. Prior to this, they were involved in research and development at Karolinska Institutet, where they worked as a PhD student, System Developer, and Team Leader & System Developer. Denny also had significant contributions at Tobii AB, where they held positions such as Principal Developer, Lead developer, and Senior Software Developer. In addition, they worked as a Software Consultant at Norsk Byggtjeneste AS and as a Senior Consultant at Inmeta Crayon. Denny's work experience also includes a role as a Senior System Developer at Skandiabanken, where they focused on software development for the Internet banking site and security methodologies.
Denny Rönngren obtained a M Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they studied Economics and Business Administration at Uppsala University from 1995 to 1996. Denny also holds additional certifications including the NVIDIA DLI Certificate - Fundamentals of Deep Learning from NVIDIA in 2021, Microsoft Certified Professional in 2013, and Programming in C# Specialist from Microsoft in 2013.
